Being in the office everyday at 8 coffee in route and a bowl of cereal at night. By the time 9:30am. comes it's time to hang out at the club. I walk in the door.. Look stroll back to the handicap area, no I am not handicap thank god but it the last booth and it likes the way I work. So I go in and set the paper down set down listen to music send texts..etc. Well seems that others come into the club with much more direction.. Damn near run in belt off pants hit the ground and they proceed to damn near blow the doors off the joint. I have learned to check shoes and now there is sorta a who's who in the "club". A particular pair of walmart purchased hikers belong to a co-worker Dave. to describe dave would be a little over weight always excited and able to SHAKE THE FLOOR WITH HIS GAS! that's right! the Vacuum the dave's Bum makes with the lid not only echoes loud enough that I want to laugh every time I am blessed with his presence in the club but.. I really think if we were to catch a glance of each other on our ways out (CLUB RULE 1) no talking when exiting the club and leave staggered. Dave would look at me to say that's right bro! I blew the lid clean off this thing!
new york/ 911/ drunks on the train..
Since I live in Philly and everyone i know here is pretty damn flaky i have been going to NYC to hang with friends. On my last trip I had my eyes open to
A.) How damn close 911 was to making a bad situation terrible.
A friend of mine from high school that I have kept in touch with is a project manager for the world trade center rebuild. So with that said I went to visit her she picked me up from the 9pm train and said lets go up into my office. (yup i thought it would be porn music playing but) I had my eyes opened in a different way. You see her office is 30 stories up and directly beside the world trade center, and another building that is condemmed and the week before caught fire and a few fire fighters lost their lives. But anyway hers is like the next building over like lost all the windows when it happend.. I had no idea of the size until you look down into the hole for the rebuild that was crazy and almost upsetting but the real kick in the nuts was.. You see there is a big river right there and as she explained the wall almost broke which would have meant MASSIVE DESTRUCTION!!! the river would have knocked out lower manhattan. Crazy as I rode the train in from Jersey you can actully see the hole and almost everyone that goes past it has the same good god look on there face. Amazing on a few different levels!!
B.) On a lighter note..Drunks on trains
The friend I stayed with is a loose cannon he is my boy a very talented artist and will make something of himself, but he's loose!!! So after we were escorted out of the bar from him attempting to and or did verbally abuse a team of asian young ladies. We got to the train station and people drunk as hell sleeping falling over etc. So he'a sleeping against the pillar I am taking pics of him everyone is in about the same state..except for me I am not drunk. So we get one the train and head home. Somehow he is standing asleep and not falling over he got pretty wobbly a few times but damn it he never hit the ground. A couple of ladies from TX were watching him and laughin, they took a pic of him passed out and holding onto the pole. I chatted it up with them they asked if I was with him I said yes and they asked if I would stop him from falling if he did. I am 5'8 175lbs.. him 6'2 240ish.. my response he's on his own he's dead weight i can't stop him if he falls.. they gigled gave me the your cute come with us look.. I went home
